About Me

The Girl

I am currently a home health nurse is the perfect little coastal town of Rockport. Both sides of my family share a deep love for the coast.I love cooking, crafting, and enjoying a sunset in my backyard. It is such a different way of life. I've always have had a true love for fashion, dressing up, and anything that is on the water.

Have you ever heard the term. "Because I was born in the South, I'm a Southerner. If I had been born in the North or somewhere else, I would be just a human being?" Imagine that but living on the coast. It is truly a different way of life. One considering it is hotter than a car on a tin roof and more humid than the devils tears. Try looking cute with that weather in the fall... I am used to it and I wouldn't change it for the world. The people, the stereotypes, and of course the style.
With that being said, I can go from shopping all day to grabbing some boots on or getting ready for the boat. I sometimes feel I wear more sweat for fish blood than I do lipstick. I was born with almost no shoes and salty hair. I've always had a love for a sundress, beachwaves, and a good tan. Among those things I love a good deal on clothes and shoes. You don't have to spend a fortune to look expensive. My mom taught me at a young age to get your staples pieces like a good bag and a good pair of shoes and you're set. She also told me never leave the house without clean underwear!
With a blend of these two loves The Coastal Love was born. A place I can let out my love for the water and the love of fashion to blend the perfect collaboration of the coastal life.
